I think a gal should know how to whip up a cocktail or two, don’t you?

As it worked out, the day I decided to bake my scones, Greg had to work late and Lu came over for a low-key girl’s night.  She’d had a long day at work, so she was the perfect guinea pig to practice my bartending skills on.

I found this aptly named website, ThePerfectCosmo.com, that breaks down the recipe and details a clear step-by-step guide on how to mix them.

The only change I made was to swap Cointreau for the recommended Triple Sec, simply because I had one and was out of the other.

The resulting cocktails were not overly sweet, nicely acidic, and appropriately potent.
